For Canada’s version of March Madness. Hey, we do Thanksgiving a month later than the US… why not bump the Madness by thirty days as well?
So as we begin, a limerick…
The season has come and it’s gone.
It’s time to grow playoff beards long.
For nothing’s more manly,
Than the quest to kiss Stanley,
And to share in the joy of the Don.
I came across this quote today…
“You can measure the character of a man by the size of the things that make him angry.”
Zing!
If I didn’t know better, I’d think that was a heck of an inconvenient character assessment. You’d have to be out of your mind to measure yourself in a moment of anger or frustration.
Measurements like that could be … well… they might… hmmm… it just doesn’t seem flattering.
The past four weeks’ sermons have been posted. There’s even one that was shared by three of the finest young men I know–they knocked it out of the park that morning!
