Have you ever heard read Jim Lang’s stuff? He’s the CFL guy for Sportsnet. While I love his passion for the game, he’s got the stupidest vocabulary on the planet. He’ll use words like ‘stud’ and ‘sexy’ to describe football players and games. Yeah, those don’t quite work.
But THIS game… he’s calling it to be a ‘slobber-knocker’. That’s probably right on target.
Here’s to a great battle on Sunday. May the Green & White be the last men standing!

The Raptors lost to the Spurs on Sunday. No big surprise from a young team. But a blip on Sportsnet.ca made me laugh afterwards…
Notes: The Raptors and Spurs have the most international players of any team in the league with six apiece. Said Barry: “I was the only one out there with one vowel in my last name, which is kind of fun and exciting. When (Jorge) Garbajosa was at the free throw line I was trying to spell his name in my head without looking at the back of his jersey and I just couldn’t do it.

Apparently, Gainer has been told that he is not welcome at McMahon Stadium in Calgary for Sunday’s semi-final battle between the Stamps and Riders. No, I’m not making this up. Here is one place you can read it for yourself.
