I came across this though I’m not entirely sure who said it or where. I just know it wasn’t me.
“One can acquire everything in solitude except character.”
Well, whattya think of that?

Maybe solitude helps prepare us for character growth, but is not the process of growth itself? Or something. I don’t know. I like that quote, but I’ll have to think about it for a while.
How about this one?
“Acquiring character usually sucks.”
I thought of that myself.
Good quote by the way, we like to speak so highly of solitude even though we might not like to practice it, but I suppose it is true that character must be developed through clashing and crashing through life… bumper cars & character or something.
